This summer, WAT opens its doors to the youngest builders. The No Code Summer School is a free camp for kids aged 8 to 14 that mixes technology and sport. Children explore No Code and AI, create their own projects, test, and learn without pressure, then move and play with sport and plenty of other activities.
Free for every child. The camp is entirely free, because we want it to be accessible to all. Everything is included: computers, software, and learning materials. Parents only need to pack a lunch, some snacks, and a water bottle.
What it is. Playful workshops combining No Code and sport, to discover tech differently, overcome fears, and have fun all summer. Kids discover AI, build websites, and work on concrete, hands on projects in a supportive, curiosity driven environment. Two age groups of 12 (8 to 11 and 12 to 14). No prior experience needed, all levels welcome. Sessions are run in French.
When. Three free weeks, from 27 July to 14 August 2026, Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. Daycare available from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
A typical day. Welcome from 8:30, No Code workshops from 9:00 to 16:30, 1h30 of sport, two snacks and a lunch, and daycare until 17:30. Friday afternoon ends with a demo day where kids present their work to parents.
The method: Search, Build, Think, Share. Children learn to ask the right questions, build a real tool, structure their thinking, and share their work clearly. Everyone leaves with their digital creations, a diploma, and a concrete, rewarding experience.
Who runs it. An initiative of Thibaud Elzière, organised by WAT, a tech hub dedicated to European innovation and digital inclusion, opening in 2027.
Where. 18 rue Volta, 1050 Ixelles (Brussels), in a space made available for the 2026 edition by the Ixelles sports centre and hockey club. Easy to reach by public transport, or bike.

Cet été, le WAT ouvre ses portes aux plus jeunes créateurs. La No Code Summer School, c'est un stage gratuit pour les enfants de 8 à 14 ans qui mêle technologie et sport. On explore le monde du No Code et de l'IA, on crée, on teste, on apprend sans pression, puis on bouge avec du sport et plein d'autres activités.
Gratuit pour chaque enfant. Le stage est entièrement gratuit, car nous voulons qu'il soit accessible à tous. Tout est inclus : ordinateurs, logiciels et supports pédagogiques. Il vous suffit de prévoir un déjeuner, des collations et une gourde.
De quoi s'agit-il ? Des ateliers ludiques qui combinent No Code et sport, pour découvrir la tech autrement, dépasser ses peurs et s'amuser tout l'été. Les enfants découvrent l'IA, créent des sites web et travaillent sur des projets concrets, dans un environnement stimulant et bienveillant. Deux groupes de 12 par âge (8 à 11 ans et 12 à 14 ans). Aucun pré-requis, le stage est accessible à tous les niveaux. Animé en français.
Quand ? Trois semaines gratuites, du 27 juillet au 14 août 2026, du lundi au vendredi, de 9h à 16h. Garderie possible dès 8h30 et jusqu'à 17h30.
Une journée type. Accueil dès 8h30, ateliers No Code de 9h00 à 16h30, 1h30 de sport, deux collations et un déjeuner, garderie jusqu'à 17h30. Le vendredi après-midi se termine par un « démo day » où les enfants présentent leurs créations aux parents.
La méthode : Search, Build, Think, Share. Les enfants apprennent à se poser les bonnes questions, à construire un vrai outil, à structurer leur pensée et à partager leur travail clairement. Chacun repart avec ses créations numériques, un diplôme et une expérience concrète et valorisante.
