Wat, from historic powerhouse to leading European Innovation hub
Founded by Thibaud Elzière, Wat’s ambition is to rally and consolidate Brussels’ tech & innovation world, focusing
on key development sectors such as Artificial Intelligence, Energy & Climate, Health & BioTech, Defense, Mobility
or Food & Agriculture.
Bringing together a community starts with a physical place where entrepreneurs, creatives and researchers can gather, connect and exchange to create or empower new ideas.
Nested in Brussels’ historic gas powerhouse, Wat is a 10,000 sqm incubator in the heart of Brussels – right in between the two main universities, ULB and VUB - where technology and hospitality meet.
Designed as a place to live, Wat’s working stations, restaurants and gym welcome a community of 1000 carefully selected members as well as over 250 events
& conferences per year.
Sustainability-driven, the project aims to lead by example with a future-ready, energy efficient site and high ESG standards.

Thibauld Elzière is a belgian-french entrepreneur
and investor known for building and scaling innovative
businesses.
As the founder of hexa (formerly efounders), he has launched over 30 SaaS startups, including aircall, spendesk, and front. Several of his ventures have led
to successful exits, such as textmaster, sold to acolad, and mention, acquired by mynewsdesk.
His portfolio also includes investments in high-growth companies like algolia
and notion.
Beyond SaaS, he supports projects like gama space and kate microcars, aiming to drive sustainability and accessibility. 5 years ago, he founded Iconic House, reinventing hospitality with the first private collection of luxury properties to rent, with servicesworthy of the very best hotels.

Charlotte Keup
Charlotte Keup brings extensive expertise in product development, brand marketing, creative strategy, and identity development, honed through leadership roles, most recently at Profits and TheMerode.
As part of the TheMerode Club founding team, she played a key role growing an exclusive private club to 2,000 members, demonstrating her ability to build and scale strong communities. With deep experience shaping luxury and lifestyle brands, she will focus on crafting the project's identity, ensuring it aligns with its vision of innovation and excellence.
Louis Langendries
Louis Langendries
Louis Langendries brings extensive experience in Real Estate, having worked at CBRE, the world's largest commercial Real Estate firm, where he gained valuable expertise in property development and investment. An entrepreneur in both the nonprofit and private sectors, he combines strategic insight with hands-on execution. With his analytical background and a degree from the Polytechnic University of Milan, he will oversee the project's financial aspects and manage the follow-up of construction works.
